No worries! Just bring a fully charged phone and you can play your own music. No DJ in your group? No problem, we can also play the Borrelvloot playlist.

We have multiple open boats. From a cozy sloop for around 20 people to our largest barge with a capacity of 50 people, we have a suitable boat for almost any group.

Boats can also be combined for groups of over 250 people.

We make use of public restrooms in the city. There are several along the canals in the city center. Unfortunately, we can’t make it as comfortable as at home, so please make sure to board with an empty bladder.

No worries, we always have a plan B(orrelvloot).

In case of heavy rain, storms, thunderstorms, or hail, the experience won’t be what you hoped for – and sometimes it’s simply not safe to sail.

With our “100% outing guarantee”*, you and your friends/colleagues don’t have to worry. In that case, we’ll welcome you (just 50 meters from the boarding location) in our bar at Schuitendiep. The more, the better. With our current fleet, we can accommodate up to 250 people, spread across multiple boats.

Our boats range from a cozy sloop for around 20 people to our largest barge with space for 50 people.

For larger groups, we also offer complete day programs and company outings in Groningen, combined with De Borrelkade, our own cozy bar. This way, you can enjoy a full group experience both on the water and on land.

No, we believe that covering the boats would take away from the experience on the water. However, if everyone uses one of our umbrellas, it comes pretty close.

In case of bad weather, we can always move to De Borrelkade, our cozy bar right next to the boarding location. This ensures you always have a great activity and a 100% outing guarantee.

You can pay in advance via iDEAL or credit card. For companies, we can also arrange payment by invoice — easy and convenient.

We’re happy to help plan a complete day program and have years of experience doing so. With our cruises on the water and De Borrelkade on land, we can organize a full program including food, drinks, and activities. Together, we’ll create a day that suits your group. No, our cruises are operated by experienced and enthusiastic skippers with the required licenses. If you’d like to steer yourself, feel free to check out our job openings. That said, if the route and traffic allow it, we’re happy to entertain younger guests with a short introduction to steering.

Yes, absolutely! Discover the ultimate way to enjoy a barbecue with our unique BBQ Boat through the canals of Groningen. Whether you’re planning a company outing, birthday, anniversary, or even a wedding, our BBQ Boat offers the perfect setting.

Drinks are included by default during our cruises. On board, we serve beer, soft drinks, white wine, rosé, and water. Food is available at an additional cost.
